The Begining

So I have decided to take a step into the world of blogging. Since my employment status recently changed to UNemployed I have found that I have a little more time on my hands. Which has been awesome, I have to admitt. I have really enjoyed being able to spend some QT with my little Carlie bug. I have also been using this time to figure out how to dive head first into my doula business and how to engulf myself around four things that I hold near and dear. My husband, my daughter, my God, and my new passion...BIRTH. But before getting into all that, let me take a few steps back, for those of you who are interested in catching up.
Here I go...the last six years summed up:
Moved home to Korea, worked at the Univirsity of Maryland on Camp Casey and attended classes there for a while, till September '04. While there I had a class with this guy named Micheal Oser. And after dating him for a little over six months, I moved to Hawaii with him. We were married in May 2005 and had our ceremony in May 2006. Then in July of 2007 we moved back to Texas. January 2009 we found out we were going to be parents! Awesomeness! And September 20, 2009 our sweet baby made her appearance. And life hasn't been the same since. Being a mommy is the biggest blessing God has given me. That little girl holds my heart in her hand and walks around with it ALL DAY LONG! Which is totally fine by me.
Now, as I was saying, this new passion of mine. Birth. Doula. Hmmm, how am I going to make this work, I totally want it to be my full time gig, but still have to create income cause Mikey is a full time student. That being said, you don't get into this industry for the money, as some of you know. You get into it for the passion. I trust that the Lord will provide me a way to make this work. So...let the planning begin. Suggestions are TOTALLY welcome.
